California EMS Academy--an Emergency Medical Services Education Center.
California EMS Academy provides courses for prehospital care in paramedic (EMT-P), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), First Responder, CPR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP), International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) and many other classes for primary and continuing prehospital education.
CEA has a long standing relationship with local hospitals for specialty care experiences, such as: pediatric, trauma, burn, spinal cord injuries, and high risk obstetric patient care.
CEA provides courses for fire departments, ambulance companies, and for other agencies or individuals who desire training in EMS.
Our Medical Director is actively involved in program activities with lectures, student counseling, exam review, and as a resource for students and instructors.
Motivation is an integral part of the educational process and our instructors strive to promote the highest levels of professionalism for patient care.

2002 CEA became incorporated.
2004 CEA received National Accreditation from the Committee on Accreditation for Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP). Program number -- 600187.
2005 Affiliation with Palo Verde College in Southern California to offer college credit for EMS courses. The coordinating agency is: The Industrial Emergency Council, San Carlos, CA Website: www.iectraining.org
2006 Veterans Administration Approval for Tuition Assistance benefits through the Montgomery GI Bill.
2008 College affiliation with Columbia Southern University in Orange Beach Alabama, Department of Safety and Emergency Services for paramedic education college credits.
2010 Probationary status for re-accreditation with CoAEMSP
Local approval agency for EMT training is through San Mateo County EMSA: San Mateo EMS Website
